Building an interfaith community

This is the question up to 30 young Christians, Muslims and Jews from around the world are to explore during a summer seminar at the WCC's Ecumenical Institute in Bossey.

International Ecumenical Peace Convocation

Pursuing Unity as an Inclusive Community

This seminar will explore the tension between the church as a theological idea and its social realities. As a social entity, the church reflects some of the flaws of society at large: Exclusion, discriminatory practices and language, dominant groups asserting their interests, etc. At the same time, unity and inclusivity are crucial for the credibility of the church's witness.
